Lakers Victorious Over Mavericks, Sweep Series 4-0

Playoff Second Round Recap:

Phil Jackson is on his way to his 4th 3-peat after star shooting guard Kobe Bryant scored a overtime triple-double in the 23-20 victory over the Mavericks. Dirk Nowitzki scored an impressive 2 points, dishing out 1 rebound, giving the Mavs a tight game. Kobe Bryant, when his teamates all were sabbotaged by the Maverick's Head Coach (by pouring harmful pathogens into the players' cups), but braved on in a 1-on-5 game.

He hit a 3 point, full-court, buzzer beater to ensure that the shame of loss would be burning long after the finish of the game. Jason Kidd declared after the game, "We simply weren't good enough. I'm retiring since I am an old failure."
